　　Five new works will be performed in“City?Symphony”2007 Shanghai Spring International Music Festival Opening Ceremony Concert, two of which will be present by multimedia. Chen Xieyang will conduct Part I, including Aspiration by Xi Qiming, Rhyme by Xu Shuya and Whisht by Guo Wenjing. Part II will be presented for video & orchestra. In Wu Xing , the video of five old-line cities of Europe: Venice,Madrid,Rome,Oslo and London will present the concept of Wu Xing : Water,Wood,Fire,Earth and Metal. Another work is Shanghai Symphony Rene Bosc, the Artistic Director of Festival Presences of Radio France. The Shanghai Symphony will be presented by the video of the Bund, Huangpu River and the city view of Shanghai. The comparison of Shanghai and foreign cities implies Shanghai will be the good symbolize of future cities, and express the subject of the World Exposition Shanghai China 2010“Better City, Better Life”.
