Chedun Film & TV shooting Base features the views of early 20th Centure Shanghai and the area south of the Yangtze River in the Ming & Qing Dynasty. It has well-equipped sound stages of different sizes,all kinds of costumes,properties and shooting and equipments.It offers excellent services to productions from home and abroad. It is one of the biggest and first class shooting and production places in East China and nationwide.

　　·The whole area covers 80 hectares. The first phase of construction that has been completed covers 30 hectares.

　　·The main finished sets include: Nanjing Road of 1930s, old streets and houses of Shanghai, Suzhou River banks, Steel bridge of Zhejiang Road, Catholic Church and different styles of European buildings.

　　·6 sound stages of different sizes have completed(which can be combined), one of which is largest in Asia with the areas is 1,728m2 .

　　·36 movies, 108 TV plays（1,518 episodes）and 105 advertisements（MTV）been shoot here. Major productions it received in recent years include Miramax’s“the Great Raid”, sino-Japanese co-production “T.R.Y”, Jackie Chan’s“Timebreaker”, Stephen Chow’s“Kung Fu”and the“sino-british“The White Countess”.
