The STA Theater is located at 630 Huashan Road in Jingan district. The gross area of the main body of the theater is 5844 square meters. The theater plaza covers 1200 square meters. The theater enjoys a proscenium stage, an auditorium on the ground floor with 510 seats and an auditorium on the second floor with 400 seats, all of which are well-equipped and spacious, as well as seven dressing rooms in different size ranging from 25 square meters to 40 square meters. The STA Theater is one of the major venues for big events in various forms and international cultural exchange activities in Shanghai. It also provides an excellent practical teaching platform for teachers and students of Shanghai Theater Academy.
