¡¡¡¡Lu Zaiyi is a noted composer in music circle of China, honored as "Music Poet". He acted as Presidentof Shanghai Orchestra, Chief Editor of Songs of Shanghai, Vice Chairman of China Musicians Association, Chairman of Shanghai Musicians Association, Vice Director of Organizing Committee of SSIMF, Art Director of Shanghai Opera House, etc. He is adviser of China Musicians Association and Shanghai Musicians Association, Vice Chairman of Director of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and is a teacher of Conducting Department in Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He won First Prize in the 6th Sir Georg Solti International Conductors Competition in Frankfurt in 2012, was sole Chinese conductor winning the prestigious award. Hitherto, Lu Zaiyi has composed more than 500 music works of various genres, with remarkable art achievements, especially in composition of chrous and songs. His works won "Golden Bell Prize" as paramount prize of music in China, Shanghai Literary and Art Prize (highest prize in Literary and Art Circles of Shanghai), Baosteel Elelgent Art Prize,"Five-Best Project" Prize, Global Chinese Classic Music in 20th Century, etc. His perfromance is characterized by rich emotion of music, profound connotation, strong feature and lyric temperament. Many of his works have been sang widely or used as classic textbook by conservatories.
