Hu Rongrong is“first little swan”of China when she came into Lyceum Theatre as a teenager. She is the first ballet dancer in China. In the 30s, she was well-known in Shanghai. As most famous children star that time, she was favorite of that time just like Shirley Temple. She was smart and versatile. She went into show business at 5 and was held dearly by many film firms. She starred in‘New Year Gift Money’,‘The Son Who Saved His Mother’and‘Little Heroic Girl’and other films. She developed from student into actor. With her beautiful ballet feet, she gave amazing performance in stage and life.

　　Hu Rongrong never stopped trying. She was involved in many domestic ballet works such as‘Thunder’and‘Red Women Army’, etc., which were popular in performance abroad. In 1964, she directed ballet‘White Haired Girl’and participate in 5th Shanghai Spring and stepped to national stage ever since. This is considered as successful works for nationalization of ballet.
