Ling Guiming was born in November of 1943, is a famous dancer, ballet educator, national performer; Vice Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Art and Literature, Chairman of Shanghai Dancers Association, Honorary President of Dance School of Shanghai Theater Academy. He acts as director and Vice Chairman of Shanghai Dancers Association.

　　He studied ballet in 1960 at Shanghai Dance School and graduated in 1966 with excellent academic records. She was main actor in‘Swan Lake’,‘Giselle’,‘Daughter Who Cannot be Locked’,‘Fairies’, and Chinese ballets such as‘White Haired Girl’,‘Thunder in Miao Mountain’,‘Rose’,‘Thunderstorm’,‘Alibaba and the Forty Thieves’, etc.. As a teacher, he brings out excellent ballet dancers such as Weng Yaosheng.

　　In the fifth Shanghai Spring in 1964, he starred in ballet‘White Haired Girl’and has witnessed the evolvement of Shanghai Spring to the scale today.
