On May 18 and 19 the French percussion band “Bronx” will present the participating festival show - modern rock percussion concert at the Shanghai Culture Square.

The percussion band "Bronx" was born in the blocks inhabited by railway workers and factory workers. In noisy factory, mechanical rotation and metal collision rhythm compose important musical vocabulary of the "Bronx", while "industry" does not represent simple mechanical beat and 17 musicians on stage create a rich and changeable sound: Industry, African percussion, rap, rock, metal, hardcore and electro-acoustic music and other popular elements are integrated in it.

Since 1989, the "Bronx" has published nine albums, while they has held over one thousand concerts. "Bronx” designs and makes all of percussion instruments by himself, to ensure the best sound effects of each concert, while each drum won't live for more than two concerts. Thus 16 thousand cans and 110 thousand drumsticks were "sacrificed" in more than 1000 concerts of the past 20 years.
