Foreign troupe performs in the community

Ongoing SSIMF and the First Shanghai public festival jointly invited foreign troupe to visit the community to carry out cultural activities for people with wonderful performances. It is reported that following ¡°Shanghai Spring", Shanghai International Film Festival, Shanghai TV Festival, Shanghai Book Fair and China Shanghai International Arts Festival will continue to carry out related activities during the public festival.
On afternoon of the day before yesterday , "I Have A Date With 'Spring' - young students artistic cultural exchange activities between China and Russia" was held in Putuo District Youth Center, where "spring" Girl Choir from Moscow, Russia debuted with teachers and students from Shanghai Putuo District Youth Center, Shanghai Mei Long school, Sha Tian School. The opening of exchange activities began with folk music ensemble "Dance of the Yao Tribe¡± performed by Putuo District Youth Center National Music Orchestra. Then Moscow "spring" Girl Choir performed Russian music, winning thunderous cheers and applauses from the audience. After the performances, students of Shatian School taught Russian students about cutouts and making Chinese knots which they give to them as a gift.
Meanwhile, Finland Vipuri Male Choir gave a show with Pudong New Area Organ Choir in Pudong New Area Youth Activity Center, presenting a wonderful performance for the Shanghai public. As Finnish oldest choir, the choir was founded in 1897, and they performed the works of Bach, Schumann, Beethoven and other great musicians, receiving a warm welcome from the Shanghai people.
