“Heroes gather together----festival of excellent students from nine music colleges of China”, mainly organized by Shanghai Conservatory of Music, make people see the hardworking to establish platform for communication between new people of China by the beautiful performance on stage of these nine students from different regions of China. In the time the audience applauded for the excellent performances of new people from different region of China, there will be new item of “participation of SSIMF”added in the resume of these students who have ever awarded in the competition of home and abroad.    

Shanghai big vocational symphony orchestra is used by this festival  and cooperated with each new performer., symphony orchestra of Shanghai Opera House being the performance staff  and conducted  by famous conductor Guoyong Zhang . Haoming Xie from Central Conservatory of Music show his strength in music by periscope of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto .  Later, Yifeng Wang from Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Ke Ma from Shenyang Conservatory of Music and Bowen Lei from Accessorial Middle School of Wuhan conservatory of music showed soprano, Erlu and piano respectively. In the second half of the performance, Danyi Gu from Sichuan Conservatory of Music started a new wave by Yellow River. Keju Wang’s viola solo made people have new view on the ability of Xian Conservatory of Music. For vocal music, duet of woman and man by Tianjin Conservatory of Music and  tenor from Xinhai Conservatory of Music all should be praised. At last, the piano concerto of the first movement of Rachmaninoff’ s Piano Concerto No.2 was played with strong vehemence by Hao Zhu from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. 

According to the introduction of Mengdong Xu, the vice president of Shanghai conservatory of music, each of the students recommended from each music college has awarded experience from competition and poll in home and abroad. To some extent, it represents the highest level of current music education of mainland of China. But for each music college which hides many talents, limited by the time of festival, they only showed a few parts. Thus, the more this kind of the communication is conducted, the better. 

Mini festival, as festival in festival of “Shanghai Spring”, closed several days ago. In the closing concert of “the beauty of the rymth”, the excellent music work of 20th century: Melodien written by Ligeti,  Cello Concerto No.1written by Shostakovich ,   symphony on story of west city written by Bernstein and orchestral music work of folk songs suite  which is composed of Fengyang Huagu, Xin Kang Ding Qing Ge and Girl from Daban City and adapted by composer of Ruo Huang are  perfectly performed.

From the opening ceremony  in May 2th, the classical festival which has theme of “festival of 20th century” totally has absorbed 5000 people to participate by three concerts in four days, two chamber concert, four lectures, and one film. Gillian Moore, the general inspector of classical art of

South bank art center which is the organizer of this festival gave a high evaluation that the festival’s success is beyond her expectation. Shanghai music hall has very strong ability of planning and execution, which is an art organization with level of international class.  The Shanghai audiences are very professional. Their behavior in each concert and lecture are all should be respected. We expect Shanghai music center can plan a series of performances with high level next year and bring them to South bank art center.
