Totally 27 original works and performances of new artists are promoted in 32th SSIMF, occupying 42.8% among all repertoires, which is of high level and quality in terms of academic achievement and appreciation, and display the proud achievements and bright future of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in music education, composition and performance besides its honor as Cradle of Musicians.

In 32th SSIMF, New Artists and New Works are promoted to the world by new channel. Chicago WFMT Broadcast Network is invited to produce 8~13 music programs jointly with duration of 2 hours each, and broadcasted in about 300 broadcasting stations in Europe and USA, and thus promote excellent programs of SSIMF to people all over the world.

Beneficial to People with Art: Opening ofArtUniversitiesto Residents

32th SSIMF has been improved further in sociality, mass, aggregation and normative, etc. 5000 tickets are sold for public interest before Opening Ceremony, lowest price is just 30CNY which attract numerous music residents queuing long in ticket offices. After appraisal of Expert Group, 3 new artists Fang Yu (Guzheng), Zhang Zujing (marimba), Lu Yiwen陆轶文(Erhu) are awarded Excellent New Artist Performance Prize, Wang Jing (vocal music), Group of VocalForce ( Song Gang, Yu Di, Wang Zhida (vocal music), Li Huiling (vocal music) and Zhang Liang(Pipa) are awarded New Artist Performance Prize; Works Snow in Winter (composed by Xu Shuya) is awarded Excellent Original Works Prize, and Colorful Rainbow (composed by Zhang Chao) and Dingjun Mountaincomposed by Zhang Dan) are awarded Original Works Prize.
