"In the Remote Place", Israeli Recorder and Piano Duet Concert

¡¡¡¡The concert is performedjointlyby two Israelmusicians. Combination of recorderand piano amplify the effect of respectiveperformance. Repertoiresinclude many traditional Chinese works, popular melodiesand classic western works, which are certain to bring fine art enjoyment and experiencefor auidences.
¡¡¡¡The recorderperformerTali Rubinstein, born in Israel, is winner of Latin Grammy Best Albumwho is recorderperformer, singer and composer. He has dedicated to integrate traditional music with jazz, popular music and R&B, and developed a completely new style of recorderperformance in the new century. First, she studied in many noted conservatoriesin Israel, won full AICF scholarshipof 1994-2006, and second prize of Utrecht International Flute Grand Prix. Later, she received a full scholarship to study in Berklee College, and became first recorder player there. She was chosen to represent Berklee in John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She releasedthree personal albums, won GRAMMY Best Album with "Entre 20 Aguas" in 2015. She cooperated with noted musicians such as Latin superstar Alejandro Sans, Whitney Houston,former royal pianistShedrick Mitchell, toured in many countries and cities in America, Europe, Asia, etc, performed in Utrecht International Flute Music Festival, Asian Flute Music Festival, etc.
¡¡¡¡GRAMMY Award winning album "Entre 20 Aguas"(alongside Chick Corea, Dhafer Youssef, Michel Camilo, Chucho Valdéz and Alejandro Sanz). In fall 2017 Tali joined the ¡°Flamenco Legends¡± tour curated by Limón, with Paco de Lucia¡¯s original band. Currently, Tali is a member of OQ Original Quartet, together with Layth Sidiq (Iraq), Shilpa Ananth (India), and Limón, signed by the prestigious IMG Artists.
¡¡¡¡Tali has cooperated with world-renowned musicians: Latin superstar Alejandro Sanz (in the 14th annual Latin GRAMMYS), Anat Cohen, Tomatito, Mariza, Alain Mallet (former member of Paul Simon's band) Emil Zrihan, Jamey Haddad, Shedrick Mitchell (formerly Whitney Houston/Aretha Franklin¡¯s pianist), El Piraña, Diego del Morao, Josemi Carmona, Alain Pérez, Farruco, Antonio Serrano and others. Israeli leading artists she has played with include Idan Raichel, David Broza, Yoni Rechter, Dan Toren, Dana Berger, Miri Mesika, Ariel Horowitz, Shimon Buskila, Ilanit, Mark Eliyahu, Ilay Botner, Lea Shabbat, Kobi Aflalo, Dudu Fisher, and Knessiat Hasechel. For her innovation in performanceof flute, Jazz Timeshonored her as "wind vane for development of recorder, good teacher and helpful friend for primary learners of recorder".
¡¡¡¡She is expert at performanceof classic music, jazz and popular music, and master composing, arrangementand impromptuperformanceas well. Her works are performedby Carmel String Quartet and Beersheba Symphony Orchestra, wherein, four preludes for piano and bass saxophonewas broadcastedlively by Spanish State Radio Station. In 2009, she performedher new works, the orchestrationfor Shu Mountains in Louisiana and Texas State Music Festival, and won highly appraisal.
¡¡¡¡Recorder is also named clarinet, is an ancient music instrument, stemmedfrom later StoneAge. Bone flute and horn flutein early StoneAge took more than 1000 years to develop into the recorder. The earliest document on recorder is painting of France in 11st century. Britishalso had document on recorder in 12nd century. Recorder continuedto be prevalent in Renaissance and Baroque Periods, but used seldom in classical and romantic periods.
¡¡¡¡Sound of recorder is usually distinctand pure, because varioustimbres and special effect can be generatedthanks to open finger clearance andnimble reaction of finger joints. Mainly 9 kinds of recorder are derived from different diapasonand timbre, including sopranorecorder, alto recorder, alto recorder, alto recorder, tenor recorder, bass recorder, bass recorderand double bass recorder.
