¡¡¡¡Hu Zhe
Principal Flutist of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra("SSO"): From 1993to 2000, studied in Secondary Music SchoolAffiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, tutored by teacher of Pu Meixiang. From 2012to 2013,studied at Hamburg Music Conservatory, tutored by Jürgen Franz for master degree, awarded Künsterische Reife directly (namely achievement of art, the highest degree of Hamburg Music Conservatory)for outstanding academicachievement in graduation.
¡¡¡¡Career: From 2000 to present, he acts as Principal Flutist of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra; from 2013 to present, acts as teacher of flute in Shanghai Orchestra Academy. In 2016, appraised as National Young Music Elite and National ClassA Actor, Guest Principal Flutist of Lanzhou Symphony Orchestraand Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. In 2000, participated in Second IntentionalFlute Competition and ranked the 4th (first prize winner of the Competition is absent), and won high appraisal of all participantsand jurors, employed by Shanghai Symphony Orchestradirectly after graduation from middle school, and became the youngest player since establishment of SSO. In July 2001, cooperated with famous Canadian conductor Marco Parisotto and performed Khatchaturian Flute Concerto successfully in Shanghai Concert Hall. As premiereof the Concerto in China, it was broadcasted live on local TV and aroused sensation. He was promoted to as Principal Flutist of SSO, and becamethe youngestPrincipal Flutist in the history of SSO hitherto. From 2013, he has acted as teacher of flute in Flute Faculty of Shanghai Orchestra Academy, teaching courses of fluteand duo for master students. Meanwhile, Hu Zhe is director of Asian Flute Association,Shanghai Flute Association, China Musicians Association, and member of China Wind Music Association and Shanghai Musicians Association, Flute grading judgeof Shanghai Musicians Association, member of Shanghai Chief Woodwind Quintet, etc.
¡¡¡¡SUN Zhiyang
Harpist of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra):SUN Zhiyang is a young harp performer, active on music stages at home and abroad. From 1994 to 2004, he studied harp in Affiliated Primary School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Shanghai Conservatory of Musicsuccessively. In 2004, he went to Hamburg Konservatorium and tutored by harp performer Professor Kotkina Irina. In 2005, he was admitted to University of Music and Theatre Hamburg with full scholarship,and tutored by Professor Xavier de Maistre, a harp recitalperformer at Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2006, he joined Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now,and performed as a recitalist, with Symphony Orchestra of University of Music and Theatre Hamburg,Hamburg State Opera Orchestra and Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. In 2007, he was invited to attend Schleswig¡ªHolstein Music Festival in the summer of 2007 and worked as harp performer at Hamburg Symphony Orchestra from2008 to 2010.
¡¡¡¡He returnedto China in 2010, and was invited to tour with many orchestras, such as Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, China Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2012, he cooperated with China Philharmonic Orchestra to play Mozart'sConcerto for Flute and Harp. In 2015, he had a trio concert with his tutor, prestige harp master Xavier de Maistre in Shanghai; in 2017, he had his recital concert at Shanghai Symphony Hall; and in 2018, he cooperatedwith Xavier de Maistreand Shanghai Symphony Orchestra againin concerto for two harps. In2019, he will cooperate with flute performer HuZhe to play ¡°Firmiana Duo¡±at Shanghai Symphony Hall.
¡¡¡¡Zhu Lin
Associate Principal of SSO:Born in Shanghai, Zhu Lin began her cello studies at five, and attended Shanghai Conservatory of Musicat ten, tutored by cello educationist Professor Liu Meijuan. At the age of 15, she was selectedby cello performer Professor Wang Lei for study in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In 2001, she studied in famous Juilliard Schoolin USA, and obtained full scholarship student, tutored by world-famous cellist and education master Joel Krosnick.
¡¡¡¡In 1997, Zhu Lin won First Prize in Third National Cello Competition in China, and then participated in a series of intentionalcompetitions and won greathonors. In 2001, she won second prize in Competition for Asian Young Musician Competitionin Hong Kong. She won First Prize in Juilliard Cello Concerto Competitionin 2003, and grand prize in International ArtistCompetitionin USA in 2004.
¡¡¡¡After that, she held concerts in regions worldwide frequently, such as Asia, Europe and North America. She has performedmany times in Hong Kong Culture Center, Alice TholyHallin New York and Steinway Concert Hall, and held recital in Carnegie Hallin the end of 2004. She have performed as soloist with BritainUlster Symphony, Juilliard Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Shanghai SymphonyOrchestra, Shanghai Broadcasting SymphonyOrchestra, Guangzhou SymphonyOrchestraand Bangkok Symphony,and cooperated with conductor Charles Dutoit, Waterland, Krzysztof Penderecki, etc.
¡¡¡¡In 2003, Zhu Lin cooperated with Gerard Schwarz(Music Director of Seattle Symphony) in Avery Fisher Hall of New York Lincoln Center. The Strad Magazine said ¡°¡with breathtakingpower and depth, mellowand flowingtone, her vibrato variegated exceptionally.¡±
