　　The Spring Rhythm is Chinese Music Series performance held by Shanghai Conservatory of Music. The concert will continue the follow the concept of “Spring of Shanghai”to promote newcomers and new pieces, to show the spirit and charm of traditional Chinese music.

　　The pieces of the first half of the concert are: The Ancient road by Li Binyang (Comprehensive indoor music), the Lotus gathering by Zhu Lin (Plucked string ensemble), the Liu Qingniang by Xu Jianqiang (Wind ensemble); the last half are traditional chinese orchestral music pieces: The Grand song of Dong minority by Wang Jianmin, the Pangu, by Jia Guoping, the beacon-fire by Su Xiao (Erhu and the orchestra).

　　The solo and pieces in this concert will be played by excellent teachers and students of folk music department, like Lu Yiwen,Wu Shuang,Liu Wenwen,Han Yan,etc.The national orchestral ensemble works will be played by the National orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and will be conducted by professor Wu qiang, who is the head of the teaching and research section of the folk music department and conductor. On the occasion, the special folk music concert “Newcomers New Pieces concert “of Shanghai Conservatory of Music will present to the public a musical feast of high academic quality and strong appreciation of music.
