¡¡¡¡Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra invites noted conductor Tan Lihua to hold concert of ¡°Lihua Tan & SPO Concert¡±on Apr. 14, 2019.The concertwill be opened with Verdi's "Power of Fate"."Horn Concerto in B-flat Major" composed by Reinhold Glière will be thesecond piece of the first half, with performanceof soloist Julian Zheng(Principal Horn of the Orchestra) as well. Symphony No.5 in B-flat Major composed by Russian composer Prokofiev will be the highlight ofthe second half. Itwas composed in 1944,and premiered in the concert held in Moscowin March, 1945 conducted by Prokofiev, which celebrated Leningrad'sreleasefrom German heavy encirclementin 1945. Symphony No.5is widely acknowledged as most outstanding masterpiece of Prokofiev.

¡¡¡¡Tan Lihua is one of the most important conductors active in music circle of China and the worldtoday.His conducting is elegant and smooth,with highlyvirtuosityand impressive artistic charm. Presently, Tan Lihuaacts as Vice Chairman of China Musicians Association, Chairman of Beijing Musicians Association, Vice Director of Art Committee of National Grand Theater, Vice President of China Symphony Development Foundation, Art Director and Chief Conductor of Beijing Symphony Orchestra.

¡¡¡¡Zhen Jiahan

¡¡¡¡He was employed by Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra as principal horn player in 2017. Zheng Jiahan was born and grown in Australia, started to learned horn from nine years old, and learned horn with Professor Xiao Yang for eight years. During this period, he obtained full-amount music scholarship of Melbourne Grammar School,and won first prize in local brass competitions. He became the youngest participator in appraisal of grade eight horn in 2005,and passed the competition with good grade of A+. When he graduated from high school in 2011, he obtained the top music award of Melbourne with the best performance achievement.
