　　International Musical Development Forum of SSIMF has been held for seven sessions since 2012. It is one of the first musical related forums that is international, professional and authoritative. Committed to be international and most updated, the forum invites industrial players both overseas and domestic to discuss the Chinese market in the international landscape, and to give advice for the development of Chinese musical industry considering current policies and market trends, via seminars and talks of various topics.

　　In 2019, with topic “Connecting the Demand and Supply”, industrial experts are invited to share their thoughts on the interaction between audience and theater. The musical forum will also be a part of the "SHOW LIFE-Shanghai International Musical Festival", which celebrates and promotes musical as the flourishing industry and as the gateway to the international cultural community.
