　　The Music College of Shanghai Normal University has a historyof 47 years. After joint efforts of generations of faculties and staffs, the college has now developed into modern professional higher music education systemwith comprehensive functions in teaching, research and art performance. The college aims to educate the application-oriented art talents with diversified knowledge backgrounds,creative professional accomplishments and international vision, and has formed the teaching features of "more attention to practice, internationalization,excellence in both virtue and skills and balance in teaching and performing", and has make great progress.

　　The college not only provides fine platform of art practicefor its teachers and students, but also makes contribution to cultural prosperityof citizens and construction of spiritual civilization in Shanghai and even the country.

　　After successful hostingof “Music and Dance Exhibition Week of SHNU” in the 34thand 35thSSIMF, the college has preparedfully for the Exhibition Weekin 36thSSIMF, which will be held in Apr. 14th to 21st, 2019. The Exhibition Weektakes the tent of "Entry into Campus, Approachingthe Art", the theme of "Ode to Motherland" for Celebrating 70th Anniversary of Birth of People'sRepublic of China, and 6 public-interestslecturesand 8 special concerts will be held therein.
