　　The drama is the regeneration and adaption of classical myth and legend and figures so as to educate people with an ancient story. Multi-media, dance, music, and interactive experience are integrated into the story based on respecting tradition, thus children can be educated through lively activities in appreciation. The story tells that a teenager,grown up in the network era with rapid pace,has been interested in Chinese characters in the time-travel journey gradually,so as to convey the concept that every Chinese is responsible for carrying forward Chinese character culture and people can only make development and progress through continuous study and innovation. Everyone onsite, including children and adults, gain something from the integration of fairy tales and modern life, vivid performance and electronics technology, original music and dance, funny plot, and humorous interactive games.

　　In order to bring better sensory experience foraudiences and enrich overall stage effect, the crew invested a lot to invite professional team to integrate multi-media into the works, thus time-travel tunnel, everything in the forest, starry night, and running in the bamboo forest are vivid, make audiences immersive in the scenes, constantly surprise them, and win highly appraisal.

　　Synopsis:

　　The tree in the alley might play a trick on people. The ink is alway inexhaustible. The old man selling his handwriting by the roadside had four eyes. There was a time machine in the museum... Moreover, there were lots of miraculous stories about the narrow college street. Zhao Yi, a small boy, did not like to practice calligraphy. However, he changed his attitude towards Chinese characters totally after a visit to the museum in College Street by accident. What’s more, he might change the history several thousand years ago...

　　[Act One]

　　His grandpa told the story about “Invention of Chinese Characters by Cang Jie” since Zhao Yi was a little boy. However, he did not like writingat all. He triggered the time-travel machine in playing experience game in the museum in College Street; then, he passed through time to the era of Cang Jie.

　　[Act Two]

　　After time travel,Zhao Yi found himself in the times before creation of Chinese characters by Cang Jie. Therefore, he tried his best to stop Cang Jie from inventing Chinese characters. However, the result definitely turned out to be just the opposite of his wish. Everything he did enlightened Cang Jie, thus he inventedChinese characters successfully. Huai Dan, the Imperial Censor, asked the Yellow Emperor to punish Cang Jie and Zhao Yi in the process. Zhao Yi and Cang Jie ran away and hid under a mulberry at the critical moment. Then, Zhao Yi found his way back to modern times. Next, he returnedto modern times with Cang Jie.

　　[Act Three]

　　Grandpa awakened Zhao Yi who fell asleep in practicing calligraphy,and found that he was writing oracle bone inscriptions. Zhao Yi told Grandpa that he learnedit from Cang Jie. One day, Zhao Yi participated in 10thanniversary of the museum in College Street,and found that the curator was replaced and the new curator was Cang Jie.
