Entrusted by Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Shanghai Musicians Association, Music Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music has been responsible for writingmusical review for all concerts in SSIMF every year. In the nearly 10 years, numerousyoung and middle-aged teachers and studentsof bachelor, master and doctoral level have been participating in the work actively, and have published 150 articles in various newspapers,periodicalsand magazines, and released them to public simultaneouslyvia WeChat Public Accounts of PropagandaDepartment and Music Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

　　From Mar. 25, 2019 to Apr. 28, 2019,Music Department will organize the event of “SSIMF” Music ReviewPractice Month”, and hold 2promotional lectures of ‘SSIMF’ Concerts, 3 lectures on academic guidance for writingmusic review, and the practice activity of writingconcertreview. Guest speakers include Teacher Joyce Ge from “SSIMF”Work Office in Shanghai Musicians Association, Shi Mingyang, the leader of Art Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Ming Yan, the professor of Tianjin Conservatory of Musicand Dr. Zhang Meng as Director of Editorial Office of magazine "People's Music". After this activity of practice month, Musicology Departmentwill make full preparation for writingmusic reviewand also expect to improve quality of themusic reviewon concerts further.
