　　海派大师陆俨少山水画名闻遐迩，但他的人物画却鲜为人知。此次展览集中了五六十年代陆俨少写生所作人物画约69件，尺寸为22×31公分的册页，是陆俨少的早期作品。画中人物身份包括了各行各业，年龄涵盖了老中青少，描绘的也多为老百姓的普通生活。这批作品从未对外展出过，甚至连发表都没有。与山水画相比，陆俨少人物画用笔爽健，造型准确、神形兼备，体现出他在人物画上的高超造诣，是难得一见的艺术珍品。

　　Though Master Lu Yanshao’s landscape paintings are very famous, his figure paintings are little known. The 69 pieces of artworks displayed in this exhibition are his early works from the 1950s and 60s, and contain mainly 22 × 31 cm portraits . The everyday people portrayed are from all walks of life and of all ages. Lu’s figure paintings feature firm and powerful pen strokes that accurate capture his subjects. These works have never been exhibited or published before, and are rare art treasures from a master.
