　　《上海青年美术大展》是上海的品牌展览，两年一届。展览面向45岁以下的中青年艺术家征集作品，每年从全国和境外超过3000件的作品中层层挑选出300件左右入围展览，并设立不同奖项鼓励年轻艺术家的创作。作品从最初仅限于国、油、雕作品参展，逐渐扩大到版画、漫画、影像、装置等其他类型的作品。许多优秀青年艺术家通过《上海青年美术大展》的平台迅速成熟起来.

Held once every two years in the Liu Haisu Art Museum, the Shanghai Youth Biennial focuses on works from young and middle-aged artists. After shifting through 3,000 pieces of art works from domestic and abroad during two rounds of judging, approximately 300 pieces were selected for display in the final exhibition. Different prizes will be awarded to the contestants depending on their works. Besides traditional art forms like Chinese painting, oil painting and sculpture, engraving, cartoon, photography and installation are also al welcome. The Biennial has become well known nationwide where young artists have the opportunity to show their talent to the world.
