　　中国农民画是具有悠久历史传统的民间乡土艺术。由金山农民画院发起的“中国百幅农民画新作展”集结了大江南北50位农民画家近100幅作品,南腔北调的风格汇聚一堂。创作素材来源于农家的日常生活。田间村头的农家事和田头的蔬菜瓜果都成为了他们笔下的描摹对象。这些取自现实生活的创作素材，虽造型色彩夸张但又朴中见雅。最为江浙人民所熟知的农民画代表就属金山农民画了，这一源于民间蓝印花布、灶壁画、砖刻的传统工艺有着广泛的群众基础，深得大众喜爱。

Traditional rural painting is a local art form with a long history in China. The exhibition, presented by the Jinshan Peasant Painting Academy will bring together over 50 peasant painters and approximately 100 works from all over the country. Though the artworks are all in different style, their content all stem from daily life, such as vegetables and fruits. And although these works are exaggerated in color, they are also simple and elegant. These paintings are popular with the masses, as they are all inspired and drawn from farmers’ lives, with their traditional blue-white cloth, kitchen murals and brick carving a common motif.
