　　“写意”是贯穿中华民族传统文化艺术的精神基质。以“写意中国”为题，聚中国国家画院国画院和书法篆刻院聘请的154位院士、顾问、院委、研究员等当代书画界的国家团队而成的“写意中国·2011中国国家画院国画、书法篆刻作品展”，是中国当代美术界的重量级集体展示，代表着当今中国书画创作的最高水准和整体面貌，必将引起社会各界的广泛关注并对中国当代美术的长远发展产生重要影响。

　　“2011中国国家画院国画院、书法篆刻院作品展”是具有学理性和研究价值的专题展览。以“写意中国”为主题，通过出自不同书画名家的笔墨传达中国画的精髓——写意精神，无疑对中国书画的发展具有战略和导向意义。

“Xie Yi”, which refers to freestyle brushwork in traditional Chinese painting, is an essential aspect of Chinese traditional culture and arts. Entitled “China in Impression”, the exhibition assembled 154 academics, advisors and board members and researchers from the China National Academy of Painting’s Chinese painting department and the calligraphy and seal department. As a heavyweight exhibition in the contemporary artistic circle of China, it represents the highest level and feature of contemporary calligraphic and painting creation in China and will definitely attract the wide attention of social sectors and have a significant influence on the long-term development of China contemporary arts.
