　　日本著名雕塑家关根伸夫，是20世纪60年代后期诞生的“物派”艺术运动的代表及领军人物之一。关根伸夫的作品多以“环境艺术”的课题进行创作，曾于1970年参加威尼斯双年展，作品取名为《空相》，一举成名。时隔40余年，这位“物派”艺术家第一次来沪举办雕塑展并为上海城雕艺术中心委约创作两尊公共环境雕塑。展览还将展出关根的新创雕塑模型小件15个、素描手稿10幅、公共雕塑喷绘作品20-30件和绘画作品40-50幅等六个部分。

Nobuo Sekine, one of the representatives and leaders of the mono-ha movement, will unveil his new work at the Shanghai Sculpture Center this autumn, 40 years after his last show in Shanghai. Best known for the piece "Phase of Nothingness", which was displayed at the Venice Biennale in 1970, Nobuo’s works mainly revolve around the subject of environmental art. This mono-ha artist will be showcasing a new creation for the first time in this city as well as two public environmental sculptures commissioned by the Shanghai Sculpture Art Center.

Fifteen small-size sculpture models, 10 sketch manuscripts，close to 50 paintings will also be on display in this exhibition.
